The steps for this task are the same when using Global Extensibility () with the exception of accessing the Configuration mode.
Many times a user or an agency may wish to rearrange group boxes, sections, or item collections (i.e., Summary box) on the view of the screen to make data entry faster or easier. The user might wish to rearrange the objects on the screen so that the fields/areas which he/she completes are at the top of the screen or reorder to the objects to match the order of entry.
For instance, the user may only need to complete two sections of a screen from a paper form. If the paper form has the ABC section after the XYZ section, the user could rearrange the sections to match the paper form. Additionally to save time, the user might move those two sections to the top of the screen and choose to hide or collapse the other objects on screen to avoid distraction.
Click on the [User Extensibility] button for the group box to be moved
Click on the Move option
An object cannot be moved to another tab or to another screen using dynamic extensibility. However, the group boxes may be moved into other sections on the same tab of the same screen.
Click on the [User Extensibility] button for the location where it is to be relocated
The new options associated to the Move option appear on the list for the new location. Select the Insert Above or Insert Below option to indicate where to relocate the group box.
When the screen refreshes, the group box relocates as configured.
