Access to Dynamic Extensibility

Dynamic Extensibility is made available by a System Administrator (SA). Access to Dynamic Extensibility features for both Global and User levels is controlled by the selected security actions on the Dynamic Extension security categories. The following conditions are required:

For specific information required to set up and enable Dynamic Extensibility within the application, please refer to the Momentum Build and Extensibility Guide in the Dynamic Extensions section. The section covers enabling the extensibility, configuring the security settings, and setting the cache.

Access can be set at the Dynamic Extension level (affecting both global and user access), the Global Dynamic Extension level (affecting only the global access), and the User Dynamic Extension level (affecting only the user access). Once extensions are available in the application, users with access to system settings will see the icons that move into global and user extensions.

User Extensibility is available via a "person" icon  and is located in the User Profile Dropdown Menu (upper right corner of the application window). Once enabled, it permits the user to use online extensibility to make screen changes that will appear only to that specific user.

Global Extensibility is available via the Configure Display button (System Administration>Configuration>Dynamic Extensions>Global Dynamic Extension Configuration). Once enabled, permits the SA to use online extensibility to make screen changes that will appear to all users of the application. The Global Extensibility button is a globe icon Global Extensibility icon and it appears beside any item that may be modified. Clicking on the icon located beside an item will open a list of available options for that item.
