Throughout VSS, the user may access various areas of VSS using the User Profile Dropdown Menu on the upper right corner of every screen. There are two views based on whether a user is logged into VSS or not:
The User Profile Dropdown Menu for a VSS non-registered user includes the following:
Support: Opens the VSS Online Help in a separate window
Contact Us: Opens the About VSS in a separate window
Site Map: Opens the VSS application Categories and Menu options available to the Guest user.
About: Opens the About window that displays the Application Version information.
Login: Opens the login page for user to enter User ID and Password.
The User Profile Dropdown Menu for a user logged into VSS includes the following:
Support: Opens the VSS Online Help in a separate window
Contact Us: Directs user to view agency contact information.
Settings: Directs the user to the Settings page
Notices: Directs the user to the Notices page
Site Map: Opens the Site_Map page which displays the VSS application Categories and Menu options available to the Guest user.
Account Maintenance: Opens the Account Maintenance page which allows user to change passwords, edit security questions, maintain policies, and other administrative functions.
About: Opens in a separate window the About screen that displays the Application Version information.
Add Start Page: Allows the user to add the current page as the default Start Page when user logs into the system.
User Extension Configuration:: Clicking this option will put the current screen into Extensibility Mode. The on-line extensibility is used to make screen changes that allows a user with the correct permissions to alter the buttons, fields, sections, field groups and item collections on the page. Clicking the blue Extensibility icon () allows the user to make screen changes that will appear only to that specific user.
Sign Out: Logs the user out of VSS
