Users may access various areas of VSS by using the menus. Menus appear on all pages within VSS except for the Home page and contain the following options based on the user type and access rights:
The Procurement menu includes access to Announcements, Solicitations, Responses, and Awards/Orders. Agencies have the choice of utilizing Procurement functionality, Invoicing functionality, or both.
Announcement Search: Directs the user to the Announcement Search page
Auction/Solicitation Search: Directs the user to the Solicitation Search page
Award/Order Search: Directs the user to the Award Search page
Create Response: Directs the user to the Solicitation Search page
Response Search: Directs the user to the Response Search page
The Electronic Invoicing menu includes access to Invoices. Agencies have the choice of utilizing Procurement functionality, Invoicing functionality, or both.
Create Referenced Invoice: Directs the user to the Award/Order Search page
Create Standalone Invoice: Directs the user to the Invoice References or Invoice Information page
The Billing menu includes access to Bills and Collections.
The Vendor menu includes access to vendor information and messages.
New Registration: Directs user to the Vendor Registration Wizard.
Vendor Information: Directs the user to the Vendor Information page or the Vendor Search page if associated to multiple vendors.
View Users: Only visible if the user has the permitted security actions.
External Applications: Directs user to a list of links to external applications as determined by the agency.
