VSS Introduction

General Information

Momentum Vendor Self Service (VSS) is a web-based application that allows an agency and its vendors to complete their procurement and invoicing activities electronically. In addition to providing agencies with a "one-stop shopping" solution for procurement and invoicing, the VSS application provides vendors with the ability to track contracts from the response through payment.

VSS provides a method for vendors to view and respond to various business opportunities with real-time interaction. VSS is easy to use and increases efficiency and readiness in the vendor-to-agency interaction points.

VSS and Pay.gov

Through the VSS system, vendors can launch the Pay.gov site directly from VSS. Pay.gov is a service that has been developed to meet the FMS commitment to process collections electronically using internet technology. Pay.gov satisfies agencies and consumers demands for electronic alternatives by providing the ability to complete forms, make payments, and submit queries 24 hours a day electronically. Pay.gov is a secure government-wide collection portal that can be accessed from any computer with internet access.
