Vendor Self-Service (VSS) provides users with a Notices page upon initial login to VSS. This page displays all “General” notices to users, while also providing the opportunity to view notices that belong to additional categories. VSS Administrators have the capability to establish Notice Categories in VSS and to organize notices into these categories. VSS also provides the option to designate a category for public viewing so it is viewable for all users before logging in. Additionally, VSS users may also view notices in VSS at any time, while logged in, by using a specific desktop link, Notices.
VSS displays individual notices up to 4000 characters in length and organizes them based on category. Notices associated with the 'General' notice category are displayed in an expanded group box, followed by individual group boxes, each representing any additional categories and containing notices associated with those individual categories. Notice categories without an active notice do not display on the Notices page.
Notices page is automatically displayed upon login and can be accessed from the desktop link strip.
