The Momentum Workflow module assigns work tasks to users. Users can view, manage, and access assigned tasks from their Inbox. Turning on Workflow in Vendor Self Service (VSS) is optional.
If Workflow is turned on in VSS, then when a vendor registration is approved in Momentum, the registration will go back to VSS and wait for approval from the VSS administrator or anyone who has vendor approval permission.
If Workflow is turned off in VSS, then the approval process is not executed in VSS.
New correspondence (Message) submitted from VSS will automatically produce a Correspondence workflow task in Momentum. New Correspondence workflow tasks are routed to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Specialist (CS) specified on the Momentum form, and if not specified, or if unavailable, to the workflow group associated with the document category of the associated transaction. There is a workflow group for each document category.
The following document categories have the ability to submit new correspondence in VSS:
Award - CORRQA
Purchasing Order - CORRIO
Payment - CORRIP
Invoice - CORRII
Bill - CORRBD
Acquisition Order - CORRQO
Cash Receipt - CORRCR
Vendors and Statement - CORRVEN
Announcement - CORRQN
Solicitation - CORRQS
Offer Evaluation - CORROE
