VSS sends email notifications for Award and Orders when new messages are added to VSS Award/Order transactions. Vendors may choose from the following notification options using Vendor Info Tab Email Notification settings for Awards/Orders:
No Notifications (Correspondence Flag not checked)
Notify for all correspondence (Correspondence Flag checked)

Vendor Self Service (VSS) sends the following email notifications regarding Awards and Orders if the associated vendor(s) are configured to receive emails via the VSS Vendor Profile:
VSS sends an email notification to vendors if the vendor on the posted Award is registered in VSS
The email subject/content will be determined with Email Type = 'Award Posted'
VSS sends an email notification to vendors if the vendor submitted a Solicitation response and the vendor is on the posted Award that references the Solicitation.
The email subject/content will be determined with Email Type = 'Award Posted - Successful Responder'
VSS sends an email notification to vendors if the vendor submitted a Solicitation response and the vendor is not on the posted Award that references the Solicitation.
The email subject/content will be determined with Email Type = 'Award Posted - Unsuccessful Responder'
VSS sends an email notification to vendors if the vendor on the posted Order is registered in VSS.
The email subject/content will be determined with Email Type = 'Order Posted'
